Am I afraid of AI technologies like MidJourney?

Cautiously, I’ll say no. I’ve embraced AI as a valuable tool, integrating it into my workflow to reduce the time spent on brainstorming and idea generation. Rather than viewing AI as a threat, I see it as the next step in the design evolution.

Looking back, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator revolutionized the design industry by eliminating the need for T-squares and large studio drafting rooms. Designers had to adapt, upskill, or face becoming obsolete. AI tools like MidJourney are no different—they're tools that, when used effectively, can enhance the creative process.

With AI taking over repetitive tasks, designers now have more time to focus on value-adding activities:
Storytelling: Crafting compelling narratives that connect brands with their audiences.
Strategic Marketing: Exploring niche opportunities and creating campaigns that resonate.
Customer Relationships: Improving customer service and nurturing stronger relationships with clients.

Ultimately, AI isn’t replacing creativity (as yet - fingers crossed) —it’s empowering designers to push boundaries and elevate their craft.
